Are your candles and reed diffusers natural?

Yes, 100% natural. Each candle is hand poured by Charlotte and made with vegetable based soy wax which gives a much cleaner & longer burn - so no nasties compared to other candles. Soy wax comes from soy beans which are a renewable source of energy and being biodegradable means it’s kinder to the environment. Soy wax is also easily washable with soap and water and does not stain.

I do not use fragrance oils which are synthetic and man-made, instead I opt for pure essential oils that are naturally sourced and have a positive effect on your well being. The wicks I use are cotton linen.

All our reed diffusers are made from a non-toxic base which has a low carbon footprint and only essential oils are added to give a great scent throw to any room in your home.

All products are sourced from Australian suppliers and I try to use natural, recyclable and biodegradable packaging as much as possible.

How long will my candle burn for?

I’ve spent many hours testing candle burn times and no two candles are the same depending on where you choose to burn it. Therefore I give an approximate burn time of 45+ hours for a 30cl candle and 20 hours for a mini candle. I’d advise keeping windows and doors closed as draughts can cause candles flames to flicker which could reduce burn time.

How can I maximise the burn time of my candle?

You can maximise the burn time of your candle by making sure you trim the wick to no more than 5mm and letting it burn for a minimum of 4 hours the first time you light it. Once your candle has reached its full burning pool, it is recommended burning your candle for no longer than 4 hours. Remember to TRIM THE WICK between burns to get the most out of your candle. This stops the wick from drooping into the melted wax and "drowning" making it difficult to light.

What will my candle look like?

As all the candles are hand made they are unique so no two candles will look the same! Different oils produce different colours. For example, a candle using range or mandarin oils will have a slightly orange/yellow colour to the wax. Candles that use clear oils like Lavender will appear whiter in appearance. There may be a tiny air bubble on the surface of the candle - this is completely normal when using soy wax and does not affect it's burn time or scent throw. This is what makes these candles so unique compared to other mass produced factory made candles on the high street.

When will my candle arrive?

I will aim to post out your order within 3-5 working days but in busy periods there may be a slight delay. Please send me a message to if you need your order urgently. I will do my best to accommodate your request.

If you would like faster shipping or for your parcel to be insured and tracked/signed for then this can be arranged, just let me know via the contact form on the website and I will adjust the delivery charges.

I try to be as environmentally aware as possible so you won't receive a paper invoice in your package, instead I will email you a digital copy.

Do I need an account to buy your candles?

No – you just select your candle and go to your shopping cart. I accept payments with PayPal and credit/debit card payments.

Will the order be tracked?

Not unless you specifically request for it to be signed for. All orders will automatically be sent out via Australia Post unless otherwise specified. Tracking can be arranged if requested.

I’ve received my candle but it’s broken!

Accidents happen and if your candle is damaged in shipment, then a replacement candle will be sent out to you. This will require a photo of the damaged items within 3 days of receiving the goods.

My candle hasn’t turned up yet...

Please let me know via the contact form if you haven't received your candle and I will do my best to track it down for you.

Can I get a refund?

I hope you will love my candles but if you wish to return one then please let me know within 7 days of receipt of the item. I am happy to refund the full amount provided it has not been lit and remains in its original packaging. Shipping costs are at customers' expense.
